KCIS - Kanto Christian International School

AKA: KCIS

Established: April 1995

Principal: Randell C. Stafford

Purpose: To provide a Christian-based education that values individuality and nurtures sound, honest, and internationally-minded children. Specifically, to teach respect for people and the importance of each individual as created by God.

Structure: The school is a church school/homeschool based on the members of the church, both students and teachers. (There can be exceptions for children from outside the church.)
Term: Grades are graded in four terms from September to June (with counseling based on the student’s situation to ensure unity and cooperation between the school and the home).

Examinations: On average, an exam is given once a month for all major subjects. All students take the Terra Nova 2/CAT 6 Standardized test once a year to assess their academic ability.
